The only thing that can not help but notice when you run iPhone X is its screen.
Perhaps because I have grown used to design a rectangle, the rectangle was the iPhone for a long time. Maybe it's years of dealing with brilliant, border-paying Android phones and just wishing there was a phone like this running iOS. But when you run X on that screen that dominates the phone, light up from every angle, it feels like this is many iPhone have been waiting for.
On the iPhone X is the biggest repair of the Apple phone since the original, a decade ago. It features a corner-to-corner screen that leaves no room for the home button, and therefore no fingerprint scanner.
No fingerprint scanner means that there is a new way to open the phone, Apple "Face Ed" face recognition system. Face recognition, a set of sensors known as the Truidipath camera, opens up new possibilities for the front camera that were not possible without them.
It's a lot of new technology at once, priced at £ 999, you'd expect it. A lot of people say that no phone can be worth the grand. But for all that is new in the iPhone X, my favorite thing is simpler: that great, wonderful screen.
Design and display
The iPhone X screen measures 5.8 inches angle to the corner, bigger not only than the normal iPhone size of recent years but also of 5.5-inch plus phones.
But keep them in your hand, and it's closer to the smaller iPhone than the plus, although the touch is wider and longer. The large boundaries on the old Evon devices have been almost completely removed, so only a thin black margin separates the screen and the edge.
I have always preferred the iPhone Plus size because of larger screens and better battery life. But for some people's hands, not to mention pockets, they are simply too big. X runs better than both worlds - big screen, small form factor.
While Apple is by no means the first to launch the phone with an edge-to-edge screen, what is unique is that the X border is uniformly thin along the way on the screen, creating the impression that it is fading in the background.
With one exception: the notch. You can not miss the crack.
