Google, in collaboration with Hackeron bug-free platform, launched the Google Play bonus security program, which promises $ 1,000 to anyone who can identify security vulnerabilities in Google Play Play applications.
Thirteen applications are currently involved, including Soufan, Dolengo, Dropbox, Snape Chat, and Hadaspace.

Applications typically run their reward programs on a smaller scale. This is the first time that Google has offered itself a bonus on behalf of developers.
Here's how it works. If you find a vulnerability in a shared application, you can report this vulnerability to the developer and work with them to fix it. When the problem is resolved, the Android Security Team will pay you $ 1000 as a bonus, at the top of any reward you get from the developer of the application.
Google will collect and share data about vulnerabilities (anonymous) with other software developers who may be experiencing the same problems.
For Hakiron, it's about attracting more and more participants to the rewards programs. The developer, who reveals a security vulnerability in Tinder, will now receive a cash reward from Google as well as funds received from the Tinder program.
"Participating applications that already have a bug program will now have the opportunity to attract a more diverse group of hackers," said Adam Bacchus, Hackeron's chief compensation officer for Mashable.
The 13 applications currently selected are based on their popularity among Android users. After a trial period with the small group, Google will open the program to the larger community.
