Google cut its share of the value of subscriptions paid by Android application users to developers from 30 to 15 percent.
This reduction will take effect from the beginning of next year, so that Google will follow Apple's approach, which has done the same for more than a year.
This means that applications that rely on annual or monthly subscriptions as a source of income will receive more profits for the lower rate of Google's deduction when processing applications through the user balance in Google Play.
In the past, Android-based subscription developers such as SpotPay have bypassed Google by receiving out-of-store subscriptions through the company's website or application itself to provide a discount rate.
But with this reduction, Google is trying to convince developers to abandon these practices on the one hand. Also, more developers are turning to the method of subscriptions rather than selling as an income source, which increases their profits.
