قطاع الهواتف الذكية الخاسر الوحيد في سوني.
نشرت شركة سوني اليابانية نتائجها المالية الربعية التي أظهرت أرباح صافية بمقدار 1.15 مليار دولار من عائدات إجمالية 18,25 مليار دولار.
وكالعادة كان قطاع أنصاف الموصلات هو الأفضل أداءاً ويشمل منتجات الشركة من حساسات الكاميرات للهواتف الذكية، وفي المركز الثاني كان قطاع الألعاب والشبكات من بلايستيشن وألعابها واشتراكاتها.
بصورة عامة كانت قطاعات سوني السبعة رابحة وإن اختلفت النسب، لكن القطاع الخاسر الوحيد كان كالمتوقع الهواتف الذكية حيث تراجع دخل القطاع من 32.4 مليون دولار قبل سنة من الآن إلى 21.9 مليون دولار.
عزت سوني التدهور في قطاع الهواتف الذكية إلى بعض العوامل الغريبة مثل التغييرات الجغرافية في توزع مبيعاتها حول العالم، وعوامل أخرى معقولة مثل زيادة أسعار مكونات الهواتف وتأثير أسعار الصرف سيما الدولار.
أما عن السنة المالية الكاملة تتوقع سوني زيادة عائدات مبيعاتها بنحو 12% لتحقق بكامل السنة 74.5 مليار دولار بنهاية مارس المقبل.
