وذكرت الشركة في بيان رسمي ان المبيعات في عيد العزاب بلغت 25.3 مليار دولار بزيادة 40% عن العام السابق واضافت بفخر انها حطمت الرقم القياسي بمبيعات وصلت إلى 18 مليار دولار خلال 13 ساعة فقط ، وللتعرف على مقدار النمو المرعب في الأرقام فإن مبيعات يوم العزاب الماضي كاملاً بلغت 17.8 مليار .
علي بابا بهذا الرقم تتوج نفسها كملكة لتجارة البيع بالتجزئة عبر الانترنت فيكفي ان نقول ان رقم مبيعات يوم العزاب 25.5 مليار دولار هو اكثر من مبيعات الجمعة السوداء Black Friday و الاثنين الخرافي Cyber Monday مجتمعة .
