أطلقت المُبرمج السوري محمد توتونجي موقع MaybHere.org، وهو عبارة عن أول منصّة عربية للبحث والتبليغ عن المفقودين حول العالم.
ويُمكن استخدام الموقع لإضافة ملف شخص مفقود مع رفع صورته وآخر مرّة شوهد فيها وأية بيانات أُخرى قد تُفيد في العثور عليه. بعدها، يتم إنشاء صفحة خاصّة للحالة لمشاركتها على الشبكات الاجتماعية أملًا في المُساهمة في العثور على ذلك الشخص.
ويُتيح موقع MaybeHere كذلك إمكانية استعراض المفقودين حسب المدينة، أو العمر، أو الجنس، أو حتى تاريخ الاختفاء وبعض العلامات المُميّزة. وإضافة لما سبق، يُمكن التبليغ عن شخص ما عُثر عليه لإضافة بياناته للموقع بحيث يُمكن لذويه أو لأي شخص على معرفة به التواصل مع الموقع أو مع صاحب الملف.
ويدعم الموقع اللغتين العربية والإنكليزية حاليًا مع نوايا لدعم لغات أُخرى كالتركية والفرنسية في وقت لاحق. كما يُمكن استخدامه في أي منطقة جغرافية حول العالم لضمان نشر الفائدة وإعادة الأمل.
Syrian programmer Muhammad Tutungi launched MaybHere.org, the first Arab platform to search and report missing persons around the world.
The site can be used to add a missing person's file along with uploading its image, the last time it was seen, and any other data that might be useful for finding it. Then, a special status page is created for sharing on social networks in the hope of contributing to finding that person.
The MaybeHere site also provides the possibility to review missing persons by city, age, sex, or even the date of disappearance and some distinguishing features. In addition to the above, it is possible to report a person who has been found to add his or her data to the site so that his or her relatives or anyone familiar with it can communicate with the site or with the owner of the file.
The site currently supports both Arabic and English, with intentions to support other languages such as Turkish and French later. It can also be used in any geographical area around the world to ensure interest spread and restore hope.
