شركة Essential تخفض سعر هاتف PH-1 بمقدار 200 دولار أمريكي
أعلنت شركة “إيسينشال” Essential عن تخفيض سعر هاتفها الأول PH-1 بمقدار 200 دولار أمريكي ليُصبح متوفّرًا للشراء لقاء 499 دولار أمريكي فقط وذلك بعد شهرين من إطلاقه للمرّة الأولى.
وذكرت الشركة أن كل من قام بشراء الهاتف بسعره الأصلي، 699 دولار أمريكي، سيحصل على قسيمة بقيمة 200 دولار أمريكي إما لشراء مُلحقات الجهاز من المتجر الرسمي، أو لتقديمها لأحد الأصدقاء لشراء الهاتف الجديد بتخفيض 200 دولار، أي لقاء 299 دولار أمريكي فقط.
وتعرّض الهاتف لأكثر من أمر بدأ بتأخير وصوله للأسواق بواقع شهر تقريبًا، لتتبعها بعد ذلك مشاكل قضائية بخصوص اسم الشركة ثم مشاكل بخصوص تقنية تثبيت المُلحقات اللاسلكية. دون نسيان عدم الإقبال الكبير عليه حيث ذكرت التقارير أن الشركة باعت 5000 قطعة فقط.
وعلى الرغم من وقوف “آندي روبن” أحد مؤسّسي نظام أندرويد خلف الجهاز، إلا أن مشاكل في الكاميرا كانت موجودة. الأمر الذي دفع روبن للتأكيد أن الشركة على دراية به وتسعى لحلّه عبر تحديثات لنظام التشغيل
