أندرويد أوريو 8.1 يخفض حجم التطبيقات غير النشطة لتوفير المساحة 2017 .
لحسن الحظ أن العديد من الهواتف الذكية الجديدة التي تصدر اليوم تكون بسعة تخزينية لا تقل عن 32 غيغابايت وفي كثير من الأحيان 64 غيغابايت، لكن مع ازدياد دقة عدسات كاميراتها، مازال العديد من المستخدمين يواجهون مشكلة انخفاض المساحة التخزينية، وهنا يأتي أندرويد أوريو بأحد الحلول.
ظهرت ميزة جديدة في نسخة أندرويد أوريو 8.1 للتعرف على التطبيقات غير النشطة، أي التي لا تستخدم بشكل متكرر دائم، وبالتالي لن يقوم نظام التشغيل بتخزين نسخة مؤقتة من بياناتها ما يقلل استهلاكها لمساحة التخزين ويعطي الأولوية للتطبيقات النشطة.
لكن هنا لدينا عقبتين، الأولى أن هذه الميزة قد نحتاج لسنة أو سنتين حتى نراها في الهواتف الذكية ويستفيد منها المستخدمون فعلاً لأن العديد من الشركات مازالت تختبر نسخة أندرويد أوريو 8.0 ولم ترسلها بعد لمستخدميها.
والثانية أن تفعيل الميزة يعود إلى الشركة المصنعة للهاتف الذكي حيث قد تختار عدم تفعيلها في نسخة أندرويد التي ترسلها للمستخدمين، بالتالي لن نستفيد منها.
بكل الأحوال يبقى من الجيد أن قوقل تفكر بمستخدمي أندرويد وتوفير مساحة التخزين في هواتفهم حتى مع دعمها لبطاقات ذاكرة خارجية وتوفرها بسعات تخزينية أكبر.
