ثغرة أمنية في تقنية بلوتوث تُهدّد أكثر من 5 مليار جهاز ذكي وحاسب .!
كشفت شركة Armis security المُتخصّصة في مجال الحماية الرقمية عن وجود ثغرة أمنية في تقنية بلوتوث تسمح بتثبيت برمجيات خبيثة على أجهزة المستخدمين وإصابتها دون علمهم.
وتُعرف الثغرة الجديدة باسم BlueBorne، وهي قادرة على إصابة أكثر من 5 مليار حاسب وجهاز ذكي حول العالم بما فيها العاملة بأنظمة أندرويد، و”آي أو إس”، وويندوز، ولينكس كذلك.
وأطلقت مايكروسوفت تحديث أمني لجميع أنظمة تشغيلها لإغلاق الثغرة. كما قامت غوغل بإغلاقها أيضًا فيالتحديث الأمني الصادر لنظام أندرويد في سبتمبر/أيلول. أما أنظمة تشغيل آبل، فمُستخدمي “آي أو إس 10” وما بعده في مأمن منها.
وتبقى الأجهزة العاملة بنواة نظام لينكس، وتحديدًا الإصدار 3.3rc1، تحت تهديد الثغرة التي يُمكن استغلالها بمُجرّد الاتصال بأي جهاز عبر بلوتوث، دون أن يشعر المُستخدم ودون الحاجة لقيامه بأي شيء، فالمُخترق يتحكّم بسير العملية بالكامل.
Armis Security, a company specializing in digital protection, has revealed a security vulnerability in Bluetooth technology that allows the installation of malicious software on users' machines and infected without their knowledge.
Known as BlueBorne, it is capable of infecting more than 5 billion computers and smartphones around the world, including Android, iOS, Windows and Linux.
Microsoft has launched a security update for all operating systems to close the gap. Google also shut down the Android security update in September. Apple's operating systems, users of IOS 10 and beyond are safe.
Linux kernel devices, specifically version 3.3rc1, are still under threat of a vulnerability that can be exploited by simply connecting to any device via Bluetooth, without the user feeling and without having to do anything. The hacker controls the entire process.
