فيس بوك تعترف بوجود 270 مليون حساب مزيف أو مكرر.
هل لديك أكثر من حساب فيس بوك؟ هل صدف وأن أرسل لك حساب مجهول طلب صداقة، وعند تصفتحه اكتشفت أن هناك شيء غريب؟ حسناً، لست وحدك الذي واجه هذه الأمور، حيث تعترف فيس بوك أن هناك حتى 270 مليون تصنف على أنها “غير مرغوب بها” وهي تكون إما مزيفة أو مكررة.
جاء هذا الاعتراف ضمن نتائج الشركة المالية الأخيرة التي أظهرت أن هناك 2,1 مليون مستخدم نشط شهرياً، منهم 2-3 بالمئة حسابات لا يرغب بتواجدها على الشبكة.
أما لمن لديهم أكثر من حساب فيس بوك فيقدر نسبتهم بحوالي 10% وهي نسبة مرتفعة وأكثر من الأرقام السابقة حيث كانت بحدود 6%.
إجمالاً فإن 13 بالمئة من حسابات فيس بوك غير شرعية لكونها إما مزيفة أو مكررة، وهذا يجعل عددها تقريباً 270 مليون حساب.
تعزو فيس بوك زيادة نسبة الحسابات غير المرغوب فيها المكتشفة نتيجة التحسينات التي طرأت على البيانات والخوارزميات التي تستخدمها للتعرف على الحسابات المزيفة، هذا يعني أن سبب الزيادة لا يعود فعلاً لزيادة إنشاء تلك الحسابات، بل تحسن طرق اكتشافها.
إن كان هذا هو الحال مع فيس بوك، فتخيل مدى سوء الوضع في تويتر التي يكثر فيها الحسابات التي لا تحمل أسماء أصحابها الحقيقية.

This recognition came within the company's latest financial results, which showed that there are 2.1 million active users per month, of which 2-3% do not wish to be online.
Those who have more than Facebook account are estimated at about 10%, which is higher than previous figures, where it was about 6%.
Overall, 13 percent of Facebook accounts are illegal because they are either counterfeits or duplicates, which makes up almost 270 million accounts.
Facebook attributes an increase in the percentage of unwanted accounts discovered as a result of improvements in data and algorithms used to identify counterfeit accounts. This means that the reason for the increase is not really to increase the creation of these accounts, but rather to improve their detection.
If this is the case with Facebook, imagine how bad the situation is in Twitter, which is full of accounts that do not bear the names of their real owners.
