دعوى قضائية جديدة تطال هاتف شركة Essential الأول بسبب المُلحقات اللاسلكية
يواجه هاتف شركة Essential الأول، PH-1، مشاكل قضائية عديدة منذ أن أعلنت الشركة عنه، فبعد مشاكل بسبب علامة Essential التجارية، قامت شركة Keyssa بتقديم دعوى قضائية لانتهاك براءات اختراع المُلحقات اللاسلكية.
ويحمل الهاتف على وجهه الخلفي صفائح معدنية تسمح بوصل مُلحقات يتم تثبيتها عن طريق مغناطيس، بحيث يتم نقل البيانات والطاقة لاسلكيًا لإضافة وظائف إضافية للجهاز مثل الكاميرا بزاوية 360 درجة.
وبحسب Keyssa، فإن Essential تواصلت معها في وقت سابق وعملتا معًا لفترة تصل لعشرة أشهر لتطوير مثل تلك التقنيات. لكنها، أي Essential، قرّرت فجأة الانتقال لشركة SiBEAM والاستعانة بشرائحها الإلكترونية لتقديم خاصيّة نقل البيانات بسرعة بشكل لاسلكي.
وعلى الرغم من استخدام شريحة من شركة أُخرى، إلا أن التقنيات الموجودة في الأجهزة هي نفس التقنيات التي طوّرتها Keyssa، ولهذا السبب سيتم اللجوء للقضاء للفصل في هذا الأمر.

After problems with the Essential brand, Keyssa filed a patent infringement lawsuit.The back of the phone holds metal sheets that allow attachments to be attached by a magnet so that the data and power are transferred wirelessly to add additional functions to the device such as the camera at 360 degrees. According to Keyssa, Essential had previously worked with them and worked together for up to 10 months to develop such technologies. Essentially, I decided to go to SiBEAM and use its chipset to deliver data wirelessly.
