Google launches a thin version of Android Oryo for vulnerable devices
محاولة جديدة من قوقل لاستقطاب شريحة كبيرة من المستخدمين الذين لا يملكون هواتف بمواصفات عالية، وهذا سيحصل عبر إطلاق نسخة مبسطة ومخففة من أحدث نظام تشغيل متاح لديها سمته Android Oreo Go edition
تستهدف قوقل من هذا النظام كل الهواتف الذكية التي لديها ذاكرة عشوائية بنحو 1 غيغابايت أو أقل وهؤلاء يشكلون نسبة كبيرة من المليار مستخدم جديد لم تصل إليهم قوقل بعد.
يتألف النظام الجديد من ثلاثة مكونات رئيسية، الأولى هي تحسينات في أداء نظام أندرويد أوريو ليتوافق مع مساحة التخزين اللازمة بأدنى حدودها وتحسين إدارة استهلاك البيانات وأمان النظام.
والثانية هي مجموعة من تطبيقات قوقل التي تم تطويرها لتستهلك مساحة قليلة وتلبي احتياجات المستخدمين الجدد. وثالثاً نسخة معدلة من متجر قوقل بلاي يسلط الضوء على التطبيقات منخفضة المساحة والتي تعمل بدون مشاكل على الأجهزة الضعيفة.
أجرت قوقل تحسينات في أداء النظام ليكون أسرع 15% ما يعني توفير مليون ساعة عمل من وقت المستخدمين يومياً. كما تستهلك تطبيقات قوقل مساحة أقل بـ 50%.
وتفعّل قوقل نظام توفير استهلاك البيانات افتراضياً في النظام وحتى متصفح كروم الذي سيوفر 600 ميغابايت وسطياً سنوياً.
ستقدم قوقل النسخة الجديدة من أندرويد أوريو للشركات المصنعة للأجهزة لتوفرها عبر هواتفها منخفضة المواصفات قريباً كجزء من تحديث أندرويد 8.1 الرئيسي.
A new attempt by Google to attract a large segment of users who do not have phones with high specifications, and this will happen through the release of a simplified and thin version of the latest operating system available to have the name Android Android Oreo Go edition
Google is targeting all smart phones that have a random memory of about 1 GB or less and these make up a large proportion of the billion new users have not yet reached Google.
The new system consists of three main components. The first is improvements in the performance of the Android OS to meet the minimum storage space and improve the management of data consumption and system security.
The second is a set of Google applications that have been developed to consume a small space and meet the needs of new users. Thirdly, a modified version of Google Play Store highlights low-volume applications that work without problems on vulnerable devices.
Google has made system performance improvements to be 15% faster, which means saving 1 million hours of user time per day. Google applications also consume 50% less space.
Google does a system that saves data consumption by default in the system and even a Chrome browser which will save 600 MB per year.
Google will offer the new version of Android Oryo for device manufacturers to be available on low-specification phones soon as part of the main Android 8.1 update.
