Google adds the option to make video calls through the "du" application to the Android system
بدأ بعض مُستخدمي نظام أندرويد بملاحظة ظهور آيقونة لإجراء مكالمات الفيديو أثناء إجراء مُكالمة داخل الهاتف، وذلك بعد شائعات سابقة أشارت إلى رغبة قوقل في القيام بهذا الأمر.
وعند الضغط على زر مكالمة فيديو Video Call سيتم فتح تطبيق “دو” Duo والاتصال بنفس الشخص، ليقوم النظام فيما بعد بفصل المكالمة العادية والانتقال بشكل كامل لمكالمة الفيديو. ولاحظ موقع Android Police أن سجل المكالمات في أندرويد سيعرض مكالمتين منفصلتين واحدة العادية، والثانية التي أجراها المستخدم بالفيديو.
وتسعى شركة قوقل لجعل “دو” التطبيق المُعتمد داخل نظام أندرويد لإجراء مكالمات الفيديو، على الأقل في هواتفها الخاصّة مثل نيكسوس وبيكسل، وتلك التي تعمل تحت مبادرة “أندرويد ون”، لتُنافس آبل في خدمة “فيس تايم” Facetime المتوفّرة حصريًا لمستخدمي أجهزة الشركة.
Some users of the Android system began to notice an icon for video calls during a phone call, following earlier rumors that Google wanted to do so.
When you press the Video Call button, the Duo application will open and connect to the same person, and the system will then separate the normal call and completely switch to the video call. The Android Police site noted that the call log in Android would display two separate calls, one normal, and the second user made a video call.
The company is seeking to make "du" the application adopted within the Android system to make video calls, at least in their own phones such as Nexus and Pixel, and those working under the initiative, "AndroidOne," to compete with Apple in the service, "Facetime" Facetime, available exclusively to users of the company's devices.
