The Samsung Experience 9.0 has been built on the Android Oreo, which is so far only available on Google's own pixel and Nexus devices. Like other operating system preview software, Samsung will use the information collection and feedback from the test population to improve the program, with particular emphasis in this case on performance and ease of use. The company says that the final version of the operating system will be launched on the next "flagship Galaxy device."
This is the first shot in Android Oreo for Galaxy S8 owners, but there are some limitations to be eligible for the program. Only the owners of the Galaxy S8 and S8 + are available in Samsung's native South Korea, along with the United Kingdom and the United States.
UK owners S8 are only qualified if they have an unlocked device. The US S8 owners can have hardware through Sprint or T-Mobile networks, or you have an unlocked device.
A potential beta test must be an active Samsung account to apply for a program, which is available via Samsung or Samsung + Members app depending on the area. Samsung says the beta test period varies by country and can change, and provides more information on the FAQ pages of its members for each region.
