يحدث كثيراً أن نرسل رسالة للشخص الخاطئ ونعتذر عنها ونندم أحياناً، لحسن الحظ بعض الخدمات تسمح بحذف الرسالة ما لم يقرأها المستلم ومن بينها تطبيق لاين الذي بدأ بإتاحة التراجع عن الإرسال ما لم يمض على الرسالة أكثر من 24 ساعة من لحظة إرسالها. أي بعد إرسال الرسالة واكتشاف الخطأ فيها يمكن حذفها قبل أن يراها المستخدم.
وكانت واتساب قد وفرت ميزة مشابهة مؤخراً حيث يمكن حذف الرسالة المرسلة خلال 7 دقائق من إرسالها، لكن بعد حذفها ستظهر عبارة ضمن الرسالة المحذوفة تفيد بذلك، كنوع من التوثيق والدقة بأنه تم إرسال رسالة وتم حذفها.
يذكر أن المملكة العربية السعودية رفعت الحجب عن تطبيق لاين ما سمح للمستخدمين داخل المملكة باستخدامه بدون الحاجة لخدمات VPN وتجاوز البروكسي. وينشط استخدام التطبيق بشكل رئيسي في الدول الآسيوية سيما بين شريحة المراهقين واليافعين.
