قوقل تحرج مايكروسوفت بالكشف علنًا عن وجود ثغرة بويندوز 10 لم تُعالج حتى الآن 2017
قامت قوقل بتوجيه أصابع الاتهام تجاه شركة مايكروسوفت، وتحديدًا بشأن الخرق الأمني التي لم تصلحه الشركة بعد في متصفحي إيدج وإنترنت إكسبلورر في ويندوز 10.
وذكرت التقارير أن مشروع زيرو التابع لقوقل أبلغ مايكروسوفت بوجود الثغرة منذ 25 نوفمبر، وتم منح الشركة فترة سماح 90 يومًا لإصلاحها.
فشلت مايكروسوفت في إصلاح الثغرة خلال المدة المحددة، مما جعل قوقل تضطر لإحراجها علنًا وذكر تلك التفاصيل، إلا أنه على الرغم من ذلك، رفض مشروع زيرو مشاركة تفاصيل الثغرة؛ لأنها بذلك ستساعد المقرصنين في تثبيت الشيفرات الخبيثة بعد استغلالها.
استجابت مايكروسوفت هي الأخرى علنًا في تلك القضية، قائلة إنه “كانت هناك نقاشات مستمرة مع قوقل حول تمديد الموعد النهائي قبل أن تكشف عن الثغرة التي قد تعرض المستخدمين للخطر”. ومع ذلك ستواصل مايكروسوفت في بحثها وتحقيقها لمعالجة تلك المشكلة.
Google has been pointing a finger at Microsoft, specifically about the security breach that the company has not yet developed in the browsers EDGE and Internet Explorer in Windows 10.
It was reported that Kozuel's Zero project had informed Microsoft of the loophole since Nov. 25, and the company had been given a grace period of 90 days to fix it.
Microsoft failed to fix the gap within the specified period, which made Google publicly embarrassed and mentioned those details. However, the Zero project refused to share the details of the vulnerability; it would help hackers install malicious code after exploiting it.
Microsoft also responded publicly in the case, saying that "there have been ongoing discussions with Google about extending the deadline before revealing the loophole that may endanger users." However, Microsoft will continue to research and investigate this problem.
