آبل قد تضيف التعرف على الوجه للآيباد برو
فاجئتنا آبل نوعاً ما بالتخلي عن بصمة الأصبع والتوجه لبصمة الوجه لحماية آيفون 10، وبالرغم من أن الهاتف لم يتح بعد للشراء وتجربة الميزة وفعاليتها وسرعتها، لكنها واثقة منها لدرجة أنها ستضيفها في أجهزة آيباد العام القادم.
بحسب كلام صاحب التحليلات الموثوقة Ming-Chi Kuo فإن آبل ستقدم ميزة Face ID في أجهزة آيباد برو القادمة. لكن لم تحسم آبل رأيها بعد وهي في انتظار لتقبل الناس لفكرة بصمة الوجه واستخدامها كما شاع استخدام بصمة الأصبع.
ما يريح آبل أنه بإمكانها وضع الحساسات والكاميرات الخاصة بالميزة في القسم العلوي من الجهاز فوق الشاشة طالما أنها تملك مساحة كافية مقارنة بآيفون 10، أو بإمكانها فعل نفس الأمر مع آيفون 10 واقتطاع جزء من مساحة الشاشة العلوية ووضع القطع اللازمة لعمل الميزة.
ويرى Kuo أن آبل ستقدم ميزة التعرف على الوجه في هاتف آيفون آخر العام المقبل لتستمر بهذا النحو. وهذا الاهتمام الكبير بتقنية التعرف على الوجه ستدفع المطورين للتماشي معها أكثر والاستفادة منها في تطبيقاتهم.
وكان قد قال Kuo سابقاً أن هواتف أندرويد متأخرة بنحو عامين ونصف عن التقنية التي استخدمتها آبل في هذه الميزة، على الرغم من أن نظام أندرويد يدعم ميزة فتح القفل بالتعرف على الوجه منذ سنوات لكنها تعتمد على مقارنة صورة الكاميرا الأمامية فقط.
